NEW YORK. KazUnite – New York, a special presentation of the book published in English by Kazakhstani historian-scholar Nurlan Kenzheakhmetuly was held under the organization of the Book Club of the United Alash Foundation. Historian, world-famous scholar Nurlan Kenzheakhmet is currently engaged in research work at Harvard University (USA). Historically valuable book of the author was published by a publishing house in Germany.

The full title of the historical work is «Eurasian Historical Geography as Reflected in Geographical literature and in Maps from the 13th to the Mid-17th Centuries».

Scientists, journalists and Kazakh diasporas who live in the USA came to the spiritual creative evening, organized by the Book Club of the Birikken Alash Foundation. The meeting, which was held in a mixed offline-online format, was led by journalist Taurbek Bozeken. Thanks to the presentation of this book, the participants got acquainted with a new and valuable scientific work, which occupies a special place in the history of Kazakhstan, and learned more deeply about its author, historian-cartographer Nurlan Kenzheakhmet. We also had the opportunity to ask various questions to the author of the book. At the end of the evening, the guests were treated to a specially prepared table, and the guests were presented with books from the Book Club.

P.S: There is hope that in the future this book by the historian Nurlan Kenzheakhmet will be translated into Kazakh and Russian. We believe that, of course, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan will find the appropriate funds and the National Academy of Sciences will also take part in this. And I wish good luck to Ulanbatyr Bakytkhanuly, who organizes such spiritual, educational and business meetings in America, and those who support him!
